Where do you turn when life is a mess?

While Jacob's new family was growing rapidly in the midst of jealousy and drama, Jacob continued to labor for years for his uncle Laban. But while Laban's business flourished by the hand of Jacob, Jacob saw no increase for himself to care for his growing family. How can Jacob hope to get a fair deal from the master manipulator, Laban?

This week we finish reading through Genesis 30 and see the Lord bless Jacob even while Jacob is treated unfairly by his uncle. We learn how God still works His will even through our own choices and ask ourselves, if God can work good in Jacob's messy life, what can He in our lives if we surrender our mess to Him?
