Step outside right now and you'll feel 50 degrees with a southwest wind that means business. Gusts could punch up to 30 miles an hour across Metro Atlanta this afternoon. That wind will find every loose patio umbrella you forgot to tie down. A Lake Wind Advisory runs until 7 P.M. for eastern Georgia lakes. If you're on the water, keep it close to shore. Atlanta tops out at 62 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. Not bad for late February. Slide over to the coast and Savannah reaches 67 with some sun breaking through. Eastern Georgia matches that 67 with even more sunshine mixing in. Tonight everybody settles near 54 degrees statewide. Now the plot twist. Rain sneaks ...
