If you're driving in before sunrise. Dense fog from last night's drizzle is hanging around North Florida and the coast. Visibility drops to a quarter mile in spots. Take it slow until 9 A.M when this burns off.
Once it clears? We're cranking up the heat. Highs hit the mid 80s across most of the state — that's about 63 degrees warmer than normal for early March. Tampa Bay and North Florida top out at 86 degrees. Central Florida matches that at 85. South Florida, you're slightly cooler at 80 degrees along the coast thanks to that steady east breeze. Inland areas could flirt with the upper 80s. We're talking near-record territory.
