Dense fog swallowed Lake and inland Volusia counties overnight. Visibilities dropped to a quarter mile. It lifts by mid morning, but take it slow through sunrise. In the next 24 hours. So what's driving today's weather? High pressure parked over the Northeast is funneling a steady onshore breeze across the whole peninsula. Think of it like a giant fan blowing Atlantic air straight at us. That sets up completely different days depending on which coast you're standing on. Let's start down in Miami.
