Ben and Rob revisit LV246 for the seconds of their full Alien franchise series, this week tackling the sci-fi classic ‘Aliens’. Directed by James Cameron and starring Sigourney Weaver, Michael Beihn, Paul Reiser, Bill Paxton and Lance Henriksen, ‘Aliens’ is often cited as the ultimate sci fi action film of the nineteen-eighties and for setting the standard for every film in the genre ever since. Ripley returns to LV246 as advisor to a company of Colonial Marines investigating the lost signal of its new colony, and makes box office and movie history in the process.
