The Prophecy That Convinced Me the “Apocrypha” Was Part of the Bible | Ep. 11

This is our first episode dealing with the so-called "Apocrypha," the 7 books of the Bible rejected by protestants, but accepted by the Catholic Church.

In this episode, I recount reading the words of the Book of Wisdom—a book I had always considered part of the "Apocrypha" as a protestant—and being astounded by how accurately Wisdom 2 predicted the crucifixion of Our Lord and its circumstances. To me, it was as clear, if not clearer, than the prophecy found in Isaiah 53, which I considered to be one of the proofs of the divine origin of the Old Testament.

But if that was true, and since Wisdom was written centuries before Christ, how could it not be from God, and thus part of the Bible?
