I stand unwaveringly for what is right. My commitment to justice is rooted not only in law and truth, but in faith—the faith that teaches us to love justice, walk humbly, and speak boldly in the face of wrongdoing. I believe, as Scripture declares, that “justice shall roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream.”

I do this work because silence has never delivered freedom, and injustice thrives when good people look away. History has shown us—through the courage of those who came before us—that progress is born from persistence. From the prayers of enslaved ancestors, to the marches led by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., to the fearless voices of Rosa Parks, Fannie Lou Hamer, and countless unnamed fighters, justice has always required faith, sacrifice, and resolve.
