Félix Rodríguez, born in Havana, Cuba, in 1941, fled to the U.S. following Fidel Castro's rise to power. Joining the CIA-backed Brigade 2506, he participated in the Bay of Pigs invasion. Rodriguez was integral to the capture and execution of Che Guevara in Bolivia in 1967. During the Vietnam War, he served as a helicopter pilot, earning numerous accolades. In the 1980s, he was involved in the Contra operations in Nicaragua. His memoir, "Shadow Warrior," details his experiences. Rodriguez remains an influential figure in the Cuban American community, advocating for anti-communist causes and sharing his experiences through speaking engagements and public appearances.
