Episode notes
In this week's episode we hear from USF’s Director of Track and Field/XC, Doug Petersen, along with two runners, Khot Juac and Micade Shumway. Both Juac and Shumway have been very successful in their running careers at USF. Both athletes talk about the kind of mentality that it takes to be a distance runner, what their strategies are, and how they continue to push themselves with the help of Doug and their teammates. Even in meets where there can be up to 400 runners, they are able to achieve their individual and team goals through supporting one another. They all touch on how important the team culture and faith is to the USF’s cross country and track programs. Hear more about what it's like to compete as a runner at USF by tuning into this week's episode.
