Historian, archivist and author Luc Lepine joined us to discuss Lower Canada and its local militias.

The militias in Lower Canada (Quebec) were both English speaking regiments and French speaking regiments.

They took the form of:

• Sedentary Militia
• Select Embodied Militia
• Volunteer Full Time Militia (Voltigeurs)
