Have you ever considered spending time at Kamdhenu Retreat, the old age home in our neighborhood?
Oh, I've thought about it, but I wasn't sure how I could contribute there.
There are so many ways! Some volunteers assist with basic chores, like cleaning or organizing. Others spend time engaging with the residents, playing traditional games, or even teaching simple arts and crafts.
That sounds wonderful. Do the residents at Kamdhenu Retreat enjoy having volunteers around?
Absolutely! Many of them cherish the conversations and attention. For some, visits from volunteers mean a lot, especially when they don't get many visitors.
I can see why that would be meaningful. Is there a fixed schedule for volunteers there?
