Episode notes
This week Deklan tells us about the life of Chesley Sullenberger, more commonly known as Captain Sully. He had an interest in flying since he was a young boy and spent his life working as a pilot and helping other pilots. He became a hero in 2009 when he safely crash landed a plane in the Hudson River, saving all souls on board.
Jane tells us about an interesting heist in Canada which involved a tasty breakfast table staple. In 2012 it was discovered that over 9,500 barrels of maple syrup had been stolen from a warehouse. But why would anyone steal syrup? To sell on the black market of course.
We also enjoy the Bourbon Maple Leaf cocktail.
