In this episode, we interview special guest Leena Pendharkar. Leena is an award-winning writer and director and is an associate professor at Loyola Marymount University's School of Film & Television. Directing both short films and feature films, Leena has made her way through the festival circuit with her films, 20 Weeks, Raspberry Magic, and more. Leena has also made her debut in television directing two episodes of the series, Hello Jack! The Kindness Show! for Apple TV+. Discussing her experiences in the film and television industry, we look at how we currently navigate this space as women of colour and share our thoughts on the changes that need to be made moving forward.
