The term “pre-adamic” has been used to describe various ideas about the state of God’s creation prior to the creation of Adam and his role in the Garden of Eden. Some have rejected the idea outright, arguing that there is no pre-adamic history other than the five-day creation account prior to day six. Others have abused the concept of a pre-adamic race to justify racism. Still others have studied megalithic sites around the world, mysteries of earth formations, non-biblical ancient texts, and other phenomena, and concluded there must have been some kind of intelligent life interacting with earth prior to Adam, such as the Anunnaki.
