Phoenix climbs to 88 degrees — about 27 degrees above normal for early March. Tucson hits 84. Up in Flagstaff, you top out at 59 under clear blue skies. Tonight stays mild. Phoenix drops to 59. Tucson settles near 50. Flagstaff gets chilly at 27 degrees. But here's where things get interesting. A cut-off low pressure system is sitting off Baja California right now, moving east-northeast toward the border. That means moisture is heading our way. Monday brings a big change. Showers develop Monday morning across southern Arizona, spreading north through the day. By 5 P.M., thunderstorms are likely across central and eastern Arizona.
