Good morning. Arizona. I'm Aaron Jolly. Arizona is doing its geography thing today. The deserts are about to kiss 80 degrees. The high country? Wind chills near 19 degrees. That's a 70-degree split across one state. In the next 24 hours. Right now we're sitting at 57 degrees in Phoenix. Here's the weird part — that was also our overnight low. The temperature never dropped. That's how mild this air mass is. Central Arizona climbs to 80 by mid-afternoon under sunny skies. Southwest winds kick up around 10 A.M., gusting to 25 miles an hour by 3 P.M. Tonight stays mild at 48 degrees. Down in Tucson, you also hit 80. But here's where things get serious. A Red Flag Warning runs from 1 P.M. To 8 P.M. For Cochise. Santa Cruz. And far southeastern Pima counties. Humidity crashes to 10 percent. Winds gust to 40 miles an hour.
