Naasón Joaquín García, the leader of the Mexico-based La Luz del Mundo megachurch, pleaded guilty in 2022 to sexually abusing three minors from his congregation. Judith Castillo was married to the grandson of Apostle Samuel Joaquín Flores. His son is Naasón Joaquín García who is the Uncle of Judith's husband.
