As survivors of the 2013 Marathon bombings, Marc and Jeff’s introduction to the adaptive fitness world and disability advocacy was heavily influenced by the events of April 15th. Throughout the episode, they discuss their experiences as amputees, recovery journeys, the support they received, and the way that fitness came back into their lives post-injury.
