As any gardener will tell you, growing fruit takes time. You can’t rush it, you can’t force it... you just have to be patient. We also need to cultivate patience in our spiritual lives. Just as God is patient with us, we need to learn how to be patient with others - even the people who really annoy us! But, in our divisive, fast-paced culture, how do we grow the spiritual fruit of patience?
