I’ve been digging deeper over the past few months on this concept of the “Upper Limit” problem that Gay Hendricks describes in his book, The Big Leap. He describes some very specific behaviors that made me feel both seen - and SO called out! See if you relate to any of these behaviors that may actually be “symptoms” of you hitting your upper limit…Most common upper limit behaviors:
  • Worrying
  • Blame and Criticism
  • Getting Sick or Hurt
  • Squabbling
  • Hiding Significant Feelings
  • Not keeping agreements
  • Not speaking truths to the relevant people (talking to someone else about it instead)
  • Deflecting (Brushing off compliments)
