The Courage to Be Different

In this week’s episode of The Andrea Engstrom Show, Brenda and I chat about the ways we’ve been able to free ourselves up to make more of our dreams come true. For me, it has meant being able to move my family to Colorado, to a little mountain town. For Brenda, it’s getting to spend the summer in Tuskegee, in the community she’s had the opportunity to invest her time and money into! In this episode, Brenda and I talk about how we got to this place of getting to live out our dreams, being willing to make the hard calls in our own lives, and how to invest your time and energy so that it will serve you better. A Brave Pivot Business and Marriage - Feat: Rachel Engels

This week on The Andrea Engstrom Show, my fabulous co-host Brenda and I had the opportunity to speak with Rachel Engels, an incredible marriage coach and licensed therapist. On today’s episode Rachel shares part of the story of how she eventually made the decision to build her business coaching others in their relationships. Impact and Income: The Mission Investor Method

In today’s episode of The Andrea Engstrom Show, I am chatting with my fabulous co-host Brenda Stroud about what it has looked like to be a mission investor in an underserved community. Brenda talks about how she desired to do more than generate income–she wanted to create impact in a community that desperately needed someone to invest, not just their money but their time and care. In this episode, we discuss what it takes to be a mission investor, what it can look like when you have the courage to speak up, reach out, and invest in the real people of a community. Brenda also talks about the importance of doing your research and knowing the market you are entering into. As Brenda always says; be ready and willing to pivot! Move and Don't Look Back

Move forward and don’t look back! Today Andrea and her co-host Brenda are back exploring what it takes to keep moving forward and how to, as Brenda says, be flexible, fearless, and think outside the box! In this episode, Andrea and Brenda talk about overcoming yourself—whether that be a fear of failure or “analysis paralysis,” and how you move forward with courage, not being afraid to change your mind or make a mistake along the way as long as you keep moving forward! Brenda and Andrea share their experiences with pivoting, leaning on wise counsel, and continuing to pursue their passions in order to become the businesswomen they are today. Andrea and Brenda remind us that it can be easy to fall into living reactively and to lose sight of who God made you to be. BUT when you pursue that niche that you were made for and continue to move forward, God can bring bigger dreams to life than you could have imagined.
