In November of 2012, Shupe, who lives in the Cascade Mountains near Mount Rainier in Washington state, had a strange encounter while hiking. She heard what sounded like talking, whistles and a grunt. To her surprise, she spotted what appeared to be a Bigfoot possibly hunting some elk.
That encounter helped her to understand things she had been experiencing while out in the woods.
Over the years, she has grown to trust and respect the creatures and has, in several ways, learned to co-exist with them.
Shupe, along with other like minded folks, has created B&G Group which has had numerous encounters with Bigfoot. She also has a Youtube channel, "Squatchin' with Barb and Gabby." where she documents all her encounters.
