Location of Missing Child Still Confounds Law Enforcement with Diane Marger Moore

In the summer of 1992, four year old Brandon Sims went missing. In July his mother, Michelle Engron Jones had gone on a trip to Detroit, Michigan to attend a conference. At the time, she claimed that the little boy was with a baby sitter. However he was never seen again. Police were called and Jones was arrested. Diane Marger Moore was assigned to prosecute the case and eventually Jones was convicted even though a body was never found. According to Amazon, Marger Moore became a prosecutor late in her career. As the chief arson prosecutor she won several murder prosecutions in Marion County, Indiana that were deemed unwinnable. Before becoming a prosecutor, she was a criminal defense attorney and federal public defender. Her first murder trial, as a defense lawyer, was a death penalty case in Claxton, Georgia in 1979. Marger Moore has traveled and litigated throughout the United States and believes that a good litigator is a great story teller---it is that connection and ability to share one's clients' stories that makes or breaks a case. More importantly, Marger Moore is a mother of two incredible children who critique her every move thereby enhancing her desire to improve or cancel her cell phone plan. She is married to a saintly retired engineer who encourages her to do whatever her dreams suggest. Writing is one of those desires. Marger Moore is now a civil litigator -- working for victims of plane, helicopter, train and truck crashes. She also handles complex federal whistleblower cases. Marger Moore has published three books. She has also published many articles on law, trial practice and procedure and has served as an editor for two law journals. She lives in Florida while working for an incredible firm in Los Angeles.
