by Clara T. (clahrah)

You've got mail! - "Wholeheartedly," is a podcast that celebrates the different keepsakes that Clara (of Wholeheartedly, Clahrah) collects underneath the floorboards of her head during the many chapters of being a twenty-something--the terrors, the joys--all from the heart. Instead of letting them melt back into the shadows, here is where she dusts them out. Each episode is a letter for the listener, with memories, anecdotes al ...   ...  Read more

    "it's self-love! run away!" ft. Denise - part 1 (Envelope #21 | S2)

Ingredients: In this envelope, share a conversation about self-love with me and my friend Denise. We go through some of the question cards from the Self-Love edition of the 'We're Not Really Strangers' card game! There were many digressions that could not be avoided though we tried with all our might. This is only part 1! We weave through our brains for thoughts on comparison, compliments, and so on. If you feel like taking care of yourself has been challenging these days or you haven't been able to slow down lately, answer these questions with us.

"twilight (2008), but it's in our own words" ft. Juliet (Envelope #20 | S2)

Ingredients: Season 2 Delivery! My dearest friend Juliet and I sit on my couch and try to recall the plot of a groundbreaking work of fiction: the Twilight Saga. She's finally on the pod! We'll be discussing very important things. We try to explain the plot of Twilight (2008) to you (quite terribly) as if you've never heard of it before. There is something unmoveable about this piece of vampire media. Do we remember it accurately? Who knows. (Content warnings: plot mentions abuse; death; mental health issues) Alternate summary of this envelope: pov - you know nothing about Twilight (2008) and want to understand it better so you listen to this but cannot tell if this is a credible source because things sound strange but the co-hosts sound so confident.

  • "more caffeine!!!" (Envelope #18)

    "more caffeine!!!" (Envelope #18)

Ingredients: do you hear it? the sound of ice cubes clattering in your glass? or perhaps you can see the milk clouds collapsing in your coffee. these days i find myself thinking "just one more cup of caffeine..." too often. for some of us, we've always liked coffee. for others, we might've only started drinking this confidence-potion when we felt like our productivity was under pressure or at its peak. highly caffeinated drinks can be kind to us on days where we feel slower than we'd like to be, but they can also be temperamental and moody. depending on where you get your cup of joe, the effects may differ... anxiety, mood swings, overthinking et al. tend to shadow us with this drink. so why do we always return to it? why drink it? this envelope will explore our relationships with caffeine; why we start drinking coffee; discuss your insights on the place coffee has in your lives; talk about whether it affects you. listen to this episode now! best served with a cup of coffee (of course).

  • "What are you listening to?" (Envelope #17)

"What are you listening to?" (Envelope #17)

Ingredients: music and sound can be another environment where we might attach our sentiments. some of us might have imaginary soundtracks that accompany our day-to-days. running errands may feel best with energetic music, or perhaps to block overthinking patterns you're listening to white noise on your train commute. our music libraries are so different and personalised. what about the concept playlists that you have ready for any scenario you'll face? there's no doubt that for a lot of us, sound can transform a space and our mindsets. what are you listening to?
