The B-I-B-L-E, Part 2

Vegan Theology: For the Least of These by Sarah & Kevin Hale

Episode notes

From the scribes of the first centuries, to the committees deciding what writings were included in the Bible, to the motivations behind the 1611 KJV, the 1909 Scofield Study Bible, the 1946 RSV, to the present moment, the people behind the Bible have been motivated by trends in culture, politics, and personal theologies. This has led to the marginalization, rather than the inclusion of many of G-d’s children. We are reminded that our faith should not be placed in a book. Our faith is in G-d.
