If a movie began showcasing a young girl living in Chile performing supernatural abilities such as telekinesis and clairvoyance, you would think that's what the movie would be about right? Wrong. If that said movie than began hinting at a possibility of a lesbian love affair between a young Meryl Streep and her sister-in-law Glenn Close, you'd think "okay that must be what this movie is about, right?" WRONG! IF YOU THINK THIS MOVIE IS ABOUT HOW A FILM CAN CAST ALL WHITE ACTORS AS CHILEANS AND THE PREJUDICIAL CLASS STRUCTURE OF THE TIME PERIOD.... YOU WOULD BE WRONG!!!

This movie is about the 1973 Chilean Military Coup, but only for the last 30 minutes.
