Jo Trickey- Motherhood, "vicar-ing" & discipleship

This week I speak to Jo Trickey from the LICC (The London Institute of Contemporary Christianity). We start off talking about becoming a vicar at the same time as becoming a Mum (including the rather tricky mix of extreme morning sickness whilst trying to lead communion on a Sunday morning), and then we talk about the season of motherhood and how to thrive in that season as a Christian woman. This isn't about pushing #blessed and toxic positivity, but Jo does offer some wisdom as to how we can hold that tension of the often tough/monotonous/lonely (and sometimes that feeling of not feeling like you're achieving much) moments of motherhood with the opportunities and joy that motherhood can bring.
