Last time on Crown of the Kobold King, our heroes ran into a group of kobold defectors rallying against the Kobold King, and wanting to join Lorkin, a vampire god. Scarab was able to get the location of the Kobold King from the cult leader and avoid bloodshed with a natural 20 diplomacy! The group kept moving and they found a room with sounds of someone weeping on the inside. They walked in to find no one initially, but Monet looked under a bed to find a sobbing homunculus that immediately attacked! After disposing of the pathetic creature, its spirit seemed to possess a mechanical anvil which then attacked and almost killed poor Edward Songfoot! Our story continues now!
