Growing up near the water Conni was either under it, in it, or in a watercraft. It was her playground and later became the playground of her boys. Combining her love for the outdoors and teaching, she earned a BS in Marine Biology and a MS from University of Oxford on International Science Education and Statistical Research Methods.
