Shabbat Shalom!
The journey of redemption is not always a straight path. In Parashat Va'era, the people of Israel, once filled with hope after Moses’ arrival, are now consumed by despair. Pharaoh’s harsh decrees have crushed their spirit, making it hard to believe in the promises of deliverance.
Yet, even in their darkest hour, God’s covenant remains firm. In Exodus 6:8, He reminds them of His unwavering plan: "I will bring you to the land I swore with uplifted hands to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I will give it to you as a possession. I am the Lord."
