Episode notes
At the Last Supper, Jesus announced something the world had never seen before—a new covenant sealed in His blood. The old covenant, built on sacrifices that could never fully remove sin, was being fulfilled in Him. In this moment, human history shifted forever.
Like a marriage covenant, this new relationship with God changes everything. Through faith, we move from slavery to sin into joyful obedience to righteousness. Christ’s sacrifice doesn’t just free us from guilt—it frees us for something: to live in devoted love and submission to our Savior.
Every time we take the bread and cup, we remember that this covenant cost Jesus His life, but it brings us eternal life in return. Those marked by His covenant no longer live for themselves—they live to honor the One who gave everything to redeem them
