Brad flies solo on this week's episode. He's back from Jackson and a bit tired, to be honest.
But he has a recap of the basketball state championships, where six area teams won a gold ball. Tupelo's girls beat Starkville for the 7A crown (1:20); Booneville's boys and girls both won again in 3A (2:45); Pontotoc's girls won in 5A (3:59); Ingomar's girls three-peated (4:50); and Biggersville's girls topped rival Thrasher in 1A (6:34).
There's a bit of coaching news to cover as well. Former Amory and Tupelo football coach Trent Hammond is the new man in charge at Tupelo Christian (7:41), while Chris Walters has taken over at Houston (8:39). On the basketball front, Jim Tally is the head coach for East Union's boys (8:59).
