Manipur Appeal/ Apel Manipur: Nan Powell Davies a Rebecca Lalbiaksangi

This episode is all about the Manipur appeal, recently launched by the Presbyterian Church of Wales. In 2023, violent unrest broke out in the state of Manipur against the Kuki people. Hundreds of people were killed, along with the destruction of hundreds of homes, churches, businesses, hosptials and schools. Thousands have been displaced in neighbouring countries, including Mizoram. Wales has very close missional ties with this region of north east India and the Revds Nan Powell Davies and Rebecca Lalbiaksangi recently visited a refugee camp in Mizoram. In this podcast, we hear their reflections on their visit and the stories they heard whilst they were there.
