Every rule in photography exists for a reason. The rule of thirds. Leading lines. Sunny 16. They're not arbitrary restrictions—they're centuries of visual wisdom distilled into guidelines. Before you break them, understand them. Know why they work. Feel their power in your images.

Then, and only then, break them intentionally. Ask yourself: Why am I deviating? What new effect does this create? Does it serve my vision or just feed my ego?
