Breaking the Third Degree: When Symmetry Steals the Center Stage

We've all heard it, haven't we? That for compelling compositions, your subject should rarely reside in the dead center of your frame. The revered rule of thirds, a cornerstone of visual storytelling, guides us to place key elements along those imaginary lines and at their intersections – the so-called "power points."
