Dave Covington is a published author who joined one of our hosts, John Visser, on The NXC Podcast Network this week. Dave Covington’s life has been defined by service, dedication, and a deep passion for helping others. A proud U.S. Navy veteran and former Army National Guard medic, Dave’s experiences during the Iraq War and in various military units shaped his unique perspective on resilience and personal growth.

After leaving the military, he pursued a degree in Special Education from Chadron State College, then moved to Arkansas to teach a self-contained Special Needs classroom. Now retired, Dave remains deeply involved with the Special Olympics, continuing to give back to his community. His rich life experiences fuel the emotional depth and authenticity of his writing, bringing heart to every story he tells.
