Marquette men's basketball assistant coach, Nevada Smith, joins this week's episode of @Notevend2 . Nevada played college basketball at Bethany College where he led the school to back-to-back conference championships, while leading Division 3 in three pointers made during his senior year.
Nevada coached at various Division 3 schools, including: St. Lawrence, Allegheny College, SUNY Canton, Ithaca College and Keystone College. Coach Smith's career shifted to the professional level when he got connected with Daryl Morey and the Houston Rocket's staff. Nevada was the head coach for the Houston Rockets D-League affiliate, Grand Valley Vipers, before becoming the head coach for the Miami Heat D-League affiliate, Sioux Falls Skyforce.
