In 2011, our father was diagnosed with terminal cancer. At the time, Danielle was a full-time mom, raising three kids while helping with the business when she could, and Andi was building a career in sports television. As our father’s health declined in the spring of 2012, we faced a life-changing decision—whether to take on ExpressIt, the company he had built. When he passed that summer, the business entered a period of uncertainty, and we made the choice to step in.
