Episode notes
In this episode we discuss determining the size of your wedding. This is widely determined by your budget.
Note that the example we use for the cost per guest is the low number for a DIY backyard wedding. The average cost per person per state runs about the following:
Montana: $250/pp
Wyoming: $300 /pp
Colorado: $350/pp
Utah: $325/pp
Idaho: $275/pp
US average: $350/pp
So in short: take the number of guests you want to invite and multiply that by the number per person. Example: Montana: For 150 guest wedding, expect to pay an average of $37,500. This cost will increase depending on food choices, decor, venue, and other vendors.
