Mar-Cheshvan is the 2nd month on Hebrew civil calendar and 8th month on the Hebrew religious calender begins Thursday October 31 at sundown. It is a powerful month of cleansing rains of abundance ! The rainy season also begins in Israel. God is releasing these abundant rains in our lives since Feast of Tabernacles! He will continue to do so as this month brings forth an overflow of blessing but we need to watch for some potential “bitter” moments. This month is called Mar- Cheshvan because there are no feasts in this month. It can also be bitter because with all the blessings sometimes there are challenges !
There is a difference between obedience and sacrifice. We often try to sacrifice when God simply wants our obedience.
