Michael changed gears and began a successful voiceover career. One of his first gigs was a long run as the voice of Arm & Hammer. In 2004, Michael moved from New York to Los Angeles to pursue acting in film and television. He booked his first television role on the smash Fox series 24 starring Kiefer Sutherland and followed that with roles on Justified (FX), NCIS (CBS), and many others.
