Corey Tutt is a Kamilaroi man from NSW and a champion for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Corey speaks with Jess about Closing the Gap target (5) Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students achieve their full learning potential and related targets.

As a young person, Corey developed a love of STEM subjects but found little encouragement for Aboriginal people to pursue careers in STEM. In 2018, Corey founded DeadlyScience, a not-for-profit organisation that provides STEM resources to remote schools in Australia and connects young Indigenous people with STEM professionals.
