Over the years I have watched my close friend battle with having lupus. Twenty years ago, I didn't know what lupus was or understand how it affects the body. It hurts to watch those we care about be in pain. Lupus can affect any part of the body and is often diagnosed between the ages of 15-45. Join us as my friend, Latoya, shares her story of what lead to her lupus diagnosis, having children, her support system, and what gets her up every morning.
