When Marcelle was young, she moved to Brooklyn with her family and experienced some prominent racial clashes of the time. This shaped her views on diversity, equity, and inclusion, and created the sparks for what she would later do in her career. Her passion for inclusion continued until she created the G.R.A.C.E system for inclusion and published a book guiding readers through it titled Measuring Inclusive Leadership with Grace.
