The book of Acts shows us that even in the middle of revival, there was no shortage of conflict and opposition. Paul and Barnabas faced sharp disagreement (Acts 15–16), showing us that when passion rises, conflict is never far behind.
Conflict isn’t conquered by persuasion but by humility. The gospel is the center we must settle our lives around. Following Jesus means sacrifice, not convenience. Jesus said in Luke 9:23, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”
Every “yes” to the mission means saying “no” to self. God’s way is always better.
