The problem is, in this modern world, we've become so addicted to ease and comfort that we've got a culture that has created "exit strategy" saints... As humans we tend to think of any negative circumstance or painful situation as punitive. It is part of our nature to view these times with a “why me?” or “what’s the quickest way to end it” mindset. There is no trial that we cannot benefit from. Adversity comes into your life, but God has a purpose for you. His primary aim is that you grow spiritually continuously your entire life.
