Matthew 16–18

In these chapters, Jesus teaches His disciples some of the deepest truths about faith, humility, and the cost of following Him. Peter boldly confesses Jesus as the Christ, but quickly learns what it means to set his mind on God’s ways rather than man’s. Jesus reveals His glory in the transfiguration, gives instructions on forgiveness, and shows the value of childlike faith in the Kingdom of Heaven.
