In today’s reading, we walk through Matthew chapters 1–3. We hear the genealogy of Jesus, the story of His birth, the visit from the wise men, and the early days of His life. Then, we step into the ministry of John the Baptist, preparing the way for the Lord, and end with the baptism of Jesus.
