At 17, Laksh Jain signed up for an Ironman without knowing how to swim. He trained in his apartment pool using YouTube. Finished Ironman 70.3 Goa in 6:01. Came back two years later and clocked 5:19:55.

But this isn’t just a triathlon story.

It’s about a 20-year-old from Rajajinagar who walked away from cricket, skipped college lectures to train, sold his bike when he almost gave up—and still chose to return stronger. Today, he splits his time between racing Ironman events and building a performance socks brand, InSkinn.

This is a story about choosing discomfort over convenience. About showing up with no excuses. And about chasing something bigger than “just a degree.”
