Jesus used the metaphors of salt and light to illustrate our purpose as His followers. As salt, we enhance our environments, bringing wisdom and discernment to situations with grace. As light, we reflect Christ to others in darkness, guiding them toward Him. This identity isn't limited to church settings but extends to every area of life—home, work, social media, and all interactions. Living as salt and light isn't about drawing attention to ourselves but allowing others to see God through us, with the Holy Spirit guiding when to be bold or gentle.
